Dr Rethabile Possa

Dr Rethabile Possa is a lecturer at the University of Cape Town in the School of African Languages and Literatures. She completed her MA in African Languages and Literatures at the National University of Lesotho in 2010. Dr Possa obtained her PhD at the University of South Africa (UNISA) in 2013. She is a creative writer and has presented and published a number of articles in African oral literature and Sesotho poetry. From 2013 to date, Dr Possa has been invited by the Ministry of Basic Education to screen Sesotho folklore and Literature anthologies for Grades 10-12. Since 2014, she has also translated Sesotho classic books for South African National Libraries.
